Processing of personal data in Bjørndal-Ruud Enterprise (ADHD+)


The person responsible for processing personal data at Bjørndal-Ruud Enterprise and ADHD+ is owner and CEO Elisabeth Bjørndal-Ruud, who can be contacted by email: [email protected]

We aim to process personal data with respect and care and in accordance with applicable regulations. In order to be able to tailor information and follow-up individually, we ask for your name and contact information when making requests via our websites. You can at any time request access to the information stored about you, as well as request that information about you be deleted.

What kind of information do we collect and process?

When you register via a form, order a service or product or visit our website, you may be asked to provide information. Depending on the situation, we may request the following personal information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Payment history, amount charged, debit/credit card information and other related transaction details
  • History of your visits to our websites
  • Other information such as detailed questions or answers to forms
  • Technical information: which website address you use to access our websites, your IP address and user behavior, browser type, language and information about identification and operating system.


Consent
We base our data on legitimate consent based on Section 6f of the Norwegian Data Protection Act. If you have previously entered into a customer relationship with us, or you are a new customer, this will be a legitimate reason to send you information. This is equated with consent under the Marketing Act, as the law has been in Norway for many years.

In order to use the services available on our websites, it is necessary for you to provide us with a few personal details, such as your first name and email address. If you do not wish to provide this necessary information, we will not be able to provide access to the requested service. This means in practice that we will not be able to send you information that you may need if, for example, you are a member of the ADHD+Membership Program or any of the exisiting programs or courses..

By using services on our website, you confirm that you have read and that you understand and agree to the content of this privacy policy. You also consent to our processing of your personal data.

You can withdraw this consent at any time. If you withdraw your consent, we will delete this information.

 

Purpose of processing personal data


The information you provide is used for the following purposes:

  • Provide access to our services and products
  • Customer service and possible telephone contact
  • Sales and marketing activities in the form of emails
  • To obtain statistics and information about user behavior in order to improve both our deliveries and customer satisfaction
  • Provide a more personalized experience and deliver products and other relevant content.


We request your personal information in order for us to:

  • Respond to inquiries
  • Send requested materials, or otherwise fulfill our obligations.
  • Create and maintain a dialogue to build relationships with customers and leads
  • Send information that may be of interest or benefit to you
  • Add you to the email list for other relevant content and offers that you have chosen to receive

When you agree to us processing your personal information in accordance with the above purposes, you agree to the following:

  •  send you direct marketing via email about our free services and paid products
  • We may contact you via email or possibly by telephone
  •  Subscription to email newsletters that you have chosen to receive. 

You can opt out of further emails by clicking the button; "unsubscribe" at the bottom of our emails, or by contacting us directly. If you "unsubscribe" when you are in any of our programs, we will not be able to send you any emails at all, that you might need as our client.


How is the information stored and for how long?

We process and store your personal data only for as long as it takes to fulfill the purpose of their collection, after which we delete the information.

Personal data is collected through opt-in forms and purchases on our websites. The data is stored in our customer systems; Kajabi and Stripe; which are recognized as globally leading providers of online customer systems ,  well equipped to store customer data for marketing and delivering services and products online.

Personal data such as names and emails can be uploaded to Elisabeth Bjørndal-Ruud's Facebook page, for the purpose of directing advertisements about relevant free content and offers. This is provided that you have consented to be on Elisabeth Bjørndal-Ruud's email list and receive regular emails.

If you have an active dialogue with us, we will keep your information for up to 2 years from the last contact; after which we will remove the information we have about you. 

 

Products you buy from Bjørndal-Ruud Enterprise:

When you buy a product from us, we ask you to register your name, email and phone number. You will receive information and links related to the product you have purchased by email. The email address will also be your username to log in to the courses and member portal you have purchased access to.

Our membership programs and course products are stored in Kajabi - a market-leading international course portal.

Credit card information is not stored with us. All purchases are made via our internationally leading payment platform Stripe Payments.

Where can you see the data we have stored about you?

You can see all data stored about you on the "My Account" page in our Kajabi course portal. There you can also change your membership type, delete credit card information or end your customer relationship with us.

Who can the information be shared with?

We do not share your personal data with external third parties, with the exception of our subcontractors mentioned in the section above, who may process personal data on our behalf. All third parties who receive personal data from us are obliged to comply with applicable laws and standards for the processing of personal data in our country.

 

Information sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. If there is an ongoing sales or customer dialogue between you, us and any of our partners, we may only share information such as:

  • Name
  • Email address

If we have registered your information in connection with an event carried out together with an external party, we may transfer the same categories of personal data as indicated above, as well as any answers to additional form or detailed questions. rights in relation to access and deletion of personal data


You have the right to receive information about what information we have about you. You can also request that we correct incorrect information or delete your information.

If you wish to withdraw your consent or request an overview of your information, correction or deletion, please contact us at [email protected]

If you have purchased products from us, you also have the right to have all data we have stored about you deleted. This means that we can no longer provide you with the service you have purchased, as it will not be possible to log in to our online courses without an email address and password.

Cookies/cookies are also used in connection with offers and advertisements on Facebook.

Google Analytics - purpose: Collect and analyze information about how visitors use the website. We use this information to create reports and further to improve the website. The cookies only collect information that is anonymous, including the number of visitors to the website, where visitors come from and which pages they visit.

This is a free service from Google that makes it possible to see the number of visitors, page views, traffic sources, length of visit, geographical location and much more. To store information about the visitors, Google Analytics uses a javascript.
